Illinois High School Basketball - Palatine overwhelms Mundelein
January 21, 2023: Palatine, IL 60074 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Palatine Pirates (Palatine, IL) and the visiting Mundelein Mustangs (Mundelein, IL), saw Palatine's basketball squad wallop Mundelein by a tally of 62-33.
With the victory, Palatine improves its record to 16-6 on the campaign. The Pirates host Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL) to confront the Saxons in a Mid-Suburban - West challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Saxons come into the challenge with a record of 9-12. Schaumburg won 45-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Westinghouse (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Waukegan Bulldogs (Waukegan, IL) in a North Suburban challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Mundelein will attempt to improve on its 8-12 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 10-11 record after their 66-58 league loss to Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL).
