California High School Basketball - Palm Desert overwhelms West Valley

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Palm Desert Aztecs (Palm Desert, CA) and the host West Valley Mustangs (Hemet, CA), saw Palm Desert's basketball squad wallop West Valley by a tally of 70-45.

With the victory, Palm Desert improves its record to 17-7 on the campaign. The Aztecs travel to La Quinta (La Quinta, CA) to confront the Blackhawks in a Desert Empire challenge on Wednesday, January 25. The Blackhawks come into the challenge with a record of 3-21. La Quinta lost 73-43 in their recent league challenge against Palm Springs (Palm Springs, CA)

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Tahquitz Titans (Hemet, CA) in a Mountain Pass challenge, on Wednesday, January 25. West Valley will attempt to improve on its 5-15 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 4-13 record after their 75-59 league loss to San Jacinto (San Jacinto, CA).
