Ohio High School Basketball - Alliance crushes Springfield

Alliance Aviators (Alliance, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Springfield Spartans (Akron, OH), 62-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Alliance upgrades its record to 6-10 on the season. The Aviators travel to Canton South (Canton, OH) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, January 23. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 8-6. Canton South lost 46-39 in their recent non-league bout against Tuscarawas Valley (Zoarville, OH)

Next up, the Spartans play the Norton Panthers (Norton, OH) in a Metro bout, on Monday, January 23. Springfield will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 62-57 non-league win over Ellet (Akron, OH).
