Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Blackhawk trounces Freedom Area
January 21, 2023: Beaver Falls, PA 15010 The Blackhawk Cougars (Beaver Falls, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Freedom Area Bulldogs (Freedom, PA), 67-37 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cougars (14-1) will now prepare for their test against Kennedy Catholic (Hermitage, PA). The go into the non-league test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Kennedy Catholic walloped Mercer (Mercer, PA), 78-25, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 12-2 record. They play next when they travel to Shenango for a WPIAL 2A 1 test on Monday, January 23. Freedom Area will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 42-36 league win over Rochester (Rochester, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-4.
