Bluffton Pirates (Bluffton, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Riverdale Falcons (Mt. Blanchard, OH), 25-21 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Bluffton upgrades its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Columbus Grove (Columbus Grove, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a Northwest bout on Thursday, February 2. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 10-7.

Next up, the Falcons play the Arlington Red Devils (Arlington, OH) in a Blanchard Valley bout, on Thursday, January 26. Riverdale will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record.
