Connecticut High School Basketball - Bunnell ripped by Northwestern Regional
January 21, 2023: Winsted, CT 06098 The Northwestern Regional Highlanders basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Bunnell Bulldogs to 30 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Highlanders now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Housatonic-Wamogo for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Northwestern Regional will battle a Mountaineers team coming off a 27-20 non-league win over Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT). The Mountaineers record now stands at 3-7.
The Bulldogs (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Stratford (Stratford, CT). The Red Devils enter the Southwest - Patriot contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Stratford was routed by Immaculate (Danbury, CT), 55-43, in a league contest.
