South Dakota High School Basketball - Highmore/Harrold holds off Faulkton
January 21, 2023: Highmore, SD 57345 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Highmore/Harrold Pirates (Highmore, SD) and the visiting Faulkton Trojans (Faulkton, SD), saw Highmore/Harrold's basketball squad hold off Faulkton by a tally of 49-43.
With the victory, Highmore/Harrold improves its record to 2-9 on the campaign. The Pirates host Wolsey-Wessington (Wolsey, SD) to confront the Warbirds in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Warbirds come into the challenge with a record of 9-2.
Next up, the Trojans confront the Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Faulkton will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 39-33 non-league loss to Groton (Groton, SD).
