Illinois High School Basketball - Latin routs Lincoln Park
January 21, 2023: Chicago, IL 60610 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Latin Romans (Chicago, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Lincoln Park Lions (Chicago, IL), by a margin of 74-53.
The Romans (10-6) will now prepare for their outing against Woodlands Academy (Lake Forest, IL). The Wildcats go into the Independent School outing with a 7-7 record. In their last outing, Woodlands Academy was trounced by Yorkville Christian (Yorkville, IL), 43-35, in a non-league outing.
The Lions now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Westinghouse for a Chicago Public - Red North/West outing on Tuesday, January 24. Lincoln Park will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 59-48 league win over Lane Tech (Chicago, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 9-10.
