New York High School Basketball - Lyons crushes Weedsport
January 21, 2023: Lyons, NY 14489 Lyons Lions (Lyons, NY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Weedsport Warriors (Weedsport, NY), 58-27 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lyons upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Lions host Geneva (Geneva, NY) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-9. Geneva lost 44-19 in their recent league bout against Wayne (Ontario Center, NY)
Next up, the Warriors play the Pulaski Blue Devils (Pulaski, NY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Weedsport will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record.
