January 21, 2023: Montville, NJ 07045 The Montville Mustangs (Montville, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting Madison Dodgers (Madison, NJ), 55-38 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (11-2) will now prepare for their test against Sparta (Sparta, NJ). The Spartans go into the Northwest Jersey - National test with a 10-3 record. In their last test, Sparta notched a victory over Westfield (Westfield, NJ), 44-41, in a non-league test.
The Dodgers now own a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to Roxbury for a non-league test on Monday, January 23. Madison will encounter a Gaels squad coming off a 42-33 non-league win over Governor Livingston (Berkeley Heights, NJ). The Gaels record now stands at 1-8.
