Maryland High School Basketball - McDonogh crushes Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart
January 21, 2023: Owings Mills, MD 21117 McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart (Bethesda, MD), 67-34 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, McDonogh upgrades its record to 15-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Archbishop Spalding (Severn, MD) to play the Cavaliers in a IAAM A bout on Monday, January 23. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a record of 6-10. Archbishop Spalding won 49-40 in their recent non-league bout against Friendship Collegiate Academy (Washington, DC)
Next up, the play the Bullis Bulldogs (Potomac, MD) in a Interstate Athletic bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 12-6 record after their 54-42 league loss to Maret (Washington, DC).
