January 21, 2023: McLaughlin, SD 57642 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Miller Rustlers (Miller, SD) and the host McLaughlin Mustangs (McLaughlin, SD), saw Miller's basketball squad overcome McLaughlin by a tally of 47-28.
With the victory, Miller improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Rustlers host James Valley Christian (Huron, SD) to confront the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 7-3. James Valley Christian won 45-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Ipswich (Ipswich, SD)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Standing Rock Warriors (Fort Yates, ND) in a B Region 5 challenge, on Friday, January 27. McLaughlin will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 40-27 league win over Cheyenne-Eagle Butte (Eagle Butte, SD).
