Illinois High School Basketball - Princeton overwhelms Orion
January 21, 2023: Princeton, IL 61356 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, IL) and the visiting Orion Chargers (Orion, IL), saw Princeton's basketball squad wallop Orion by a count of 56-35.
With the victory, Princeton upgrades its record to 20-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Hall (Spring Valley, IL) to play the Red Devils in a Three Rivers - East challenge on Monday, January 23. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 13-9. Hall won 44-14 in their recent league challenge against Mendota (Mendota, IL)
Next up, the Chargers play the Erie-Prophetstown Panthers (Erie, IL) in a Three Rivers - West challenge, on Monday, January 23. Orion will attempt to upgrade on its 10-13 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 9-12 record after their 48-22 league loss to Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL).
