Poly Engineers (Baltimore, MD) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting St. Mary's Ryken Knights (Leonardtown, MD), 60-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Poly upgrades its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Engineers travel to Digital Harbor (Baltimore, MD) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 4-3.

Next up, the Knights play the Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD) in a Washington Catholic bout, on Tuesday, January 24. St. Mary's Ryken will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 12-5 record after their 97-28 non-league win over Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA).
