Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Union City bests Reynolds
January 21, 2023: Greenville, PA 16125 The Union City Bears basketball team scored 37 points and restricted the host Reynolds Raiders to 26 in the Bears non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bears now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rocky Grove for a District 10 Region 2 contest on Monday, January 23. Union City will battle a Orioles team coming off a 42-19 league loss to Youngsville (Youngsville, PA). The Orioles record now stands at 0-9.
The Raiders (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Farrell (Farrell, PA). The Steelers come into the District 10 Region 1 contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Farrell prevailed over Mercer (Mercer, PA), 41-26, in a league contest.
