The Tri-Valley Bulldogs basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the visiting Tamaqua Blue Raiders to 36 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nativity BVM for a Schuylkill County 3 contest on Monday, January 23. Tri-Valley will battle a Green Wave team coming off a 49-27 non-league loss to Our Lady of Lourdes Regional (Coal Township, PA). The Green Wave record now stands at 5-6.

The Blue Raiders (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Lehighton (Lehighton, PA). The Indians come into the Schuylkill County 1 contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Lehighton was nudged by Jim Thorpe (Jim Thorpe, PA), 41-36, in a league contest.
