January 21, 2023: Raleigh, NC 27607 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (Raleigh, NC) and the visiting Carmel Christian Cougars (Matthews, NC), saw Cardinal Gibbons's basketball squad wallop Carmel Christian by a count of 71-50.
With the victory, Cardinal Gibbons upgrades its record to 16-1 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Enloe (Raleigh, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-11. Enloe lost 58-48 in their recent league challenge against Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC)
Next up, the Cougars play the York Prep Patriots (Rock Hill, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 3. Carmel Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record.
