Florida High School Basketball - Spoto nudges Plant
January 21, 2023: Riverview, FL 33569 Spoto Spartans (Riverview, FL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Plant Panthers (Tampa, FL), 33-29 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Spoto upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Spartans host Robinson (Tampa, FL) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 2-6.
Next up, the Panthers clash with the Jesuit Tigers (Tampa, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Plant will attempt to upgrade on its 18-3 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 55-53 non-league win over Bishop Moore (Orlando, FL).
