Illinois High School Basketball - Lincoln Park fells Crete-Monee
January 21, 2024: Chicago, IL 60614 Lincoln Park Lions (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Crete-Monee Warriors (Crete, IL), 59-51 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lincoln Park upgrades its record to 16-7 on the season. The Lions host Lane Tech (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Champions in a Chicago Public - Red Northwest bout on Monday, January 22. The Champions go into the bout with a record of 12-10. Lane Tech won 62-32 in their recent league bout against Orr (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Warriors clash with the Rich Township Raptors (Olympia Fields, IL) in a Southland bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Crete-Monee will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Raptors go into the bout with a 14-6 record after their 48-45 non-league loss to Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL).
