In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Adams Central Patriots basketball team scored a good 66-57 triumph over the Ord Chanticleers.

The Patriots (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Grand Island Central Catholic (Grand Island, NE). The Crusaders go into the non-league contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Grand Island Central Catholic topped Aquinas (David City, NE), 63-33, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Chanticleers battle the Boone Central Cardinals (Albion, NE) in a C1 District 8 contest, on Friday, January 24. Ord will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record.
