Oklahoma High School Basketball - Tecumseh holds off Byng
January 21, 2025: Ada, OK 74820 The Tecumseh Savages basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host Byng Pirates to 58 in the Savages non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Savages now possess a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Seminole for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. Tecumseh will confront a Chieftains team coming off a 59-50 non-league loss to Holdenville (Holdenville, OK). The Chieftains record now stands at 2-10.
With the loss, Byng falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Pirates host Yukon (Yukon, OK) to confront the Millers in a non-league game on Thursday, January 23. The Millers go into the game with a record of 5-8. Yukon won 83-54 in their recent league game against Grant (Oklahoma City, OK)
