January 21, 2025: Rutledge, TN 37861 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Grainger Grizzlies (Rutledge, TN) and the visiting Cherokee Chiefs (Rogersville, TN), observed Grainger's basketball team overwhelm Cherokee by a score of 68-37.
The Grizzlies (4-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Cosby (Cosby, TN). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 8-11 record. In their last challenge, Cosby was routed by North Greene (Greeneville, TN), 63-46, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Chiefs encounter the Volunteer Falcons (Church Hill, TN) in a 3A District 2 challenge, on Friday, January 24. Cherokee will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record.
