Shelby-Rising City Huskies (Shelby, NE) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host David City Scouts (David City, NE), 52-42 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Shelby-Rising City advances its record to 6-8 on the year. The Huskies host Dorchester (Dorchester, NE) to meet the Longhorns in a non-league match on Thursday, January 23. The Longhorns enter the match with a record of 1-12. Dorchester lost 66-6 in their recent non-league match against Cross County (Stromsburg, NE)

The Scouts now hold a 2-13 record. They play next when they travel to Central City for a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 30.
