Alaska High School Basketball - North Pole triumphant over Delta
January 21, 2025: North Pole, AK 99705 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the North Pole Patriots (North Pole, AK) and the visiting Delta Huskies (Delta Junction, AK), observed North Pole's basketball team overwhelm Delta by a score of 77-49.
The Patriots (2-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Lathrop (Fairbanks, AK). The Malemutes come into the 4A Mid Alaska challenge with a 5-7 record.
With the loss, Delta falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Huskies host Valdez (Valdez, AK) to play the Buccaneers in a 3A Aurora game on Friday, January 24. The Buccaneers go into the game with a record of 2-6. Valdez won 80-72 in their recent non-league game against Mt. Edgecumbe (Sitka, AK)
