With the victory, Southland advances its record to 5-5 on the year. The Rebels travel to North Pemiscot (Wardell, MO) to meet the Mustangs in a Tri-County - Southeast battle on Friday, January 24. The Mustangs enter the battle with a record of 0-9. North Pemiscot lost 69-20 in their recent league battle against Clarkton (Clarkton, MO)
The Eagles now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gideon for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 23. Naylor will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 82-51 non-league win over Scott County Central (Sikeston, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-8.
