The Crescenta Valley Falcons basketball squad (La Crescenta, CA), was nudged 55-50 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Burroughs Bears (Burbank, CA)

With the victory, Burroughs advances its record to 14-8 on the year. The Bears travel to Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA) to meet the Cardinals in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 25. The Cardinals enter the battle with a record of 16-4. Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary won 49-27 in their recent league battle against Ramona Convent (Alhambra, CA)

The Falcons now own a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hoover for a Pacific battle on Saturday, January 25. Crescenta Valley will meet a Tornados squad coming off a 42-38 league win over Muir (Pasadena, CA). The Tornados record now stands at 8-9.
