January 21, 2025: Gainesville, NY 14066 The Fillmore Eagles (Fillmore, NY) basketball edged the host Letchworth Legends (Gainesville, NY), 56-49 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 9-0 record. They play next when they host Hinsdale Central for a Section 5 Allegany bout on Thursday, January 23. Fillmore will play a Bobcats team coming off a 46-21 non-league loss to Lima Christian (Lima, NY). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, Letchworth falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Legends host Pembroke (Corfu, NY) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 23. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Pembroke won 46-28 in their recent league bout against Webber (Lyndonville, NY)
