Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Greenville triumphant over Laurel
January 21, 2025: Greenville, PA 16125 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Greenville Trojans (Greenville, PA) and the visiting Laurel Spartans (New Castle, PA), observed Greenville's basketball team overwhelm Laurel by a score of 49-28.
The Trojans (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Saegertown (Saegertown, PA). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 8-5 record. In their last challenge, Saegertown trounced Jamestown (Jamestown, PA), 60-48, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Spartans battle the Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 1 challenge, on Thursday, January 23. Laurel will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 14-2 record after their 49-46 non-league win over Central Valley (Monaca, PA).
