Kentucky High School Basketball - West Jessamine can't hold off North Laurel
January 21, 2025: Nicholasville, KY 40356 North Laurel Jaguars (London, KY) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host West Jessamine Colts (Nicholasville, KY), 70-65 in a non-league match.
With the victory, North Laurel advances its record to 15-0 on the year. The Jaguars host Clay County (Manchester, KY) to face the Tigers in a District 49 match on Friday, January 24. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 11-7. Clay County won 75-41 in their recent non-league match against Breathitt County (Jackson, KY)
The Colts now own a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mercer County for a District 46 match on Friday, January 24. West Jessamine will face a Titans squad coming off a 78-54 non-league win over Christian Academy-Louisville (Louisville, KY). The Titans record now stands at 5-12.
