January 21, 2025: Oliver Springs, TN 37840 The Roane County Yellowjackets (Kingston, TN) basketball crushed the host Oliver Springs Bobcats (Oliver Springs, TN), 63-38 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Yellowjackets now possess a 10-8 record. They play next when they host Polk County for a 2A District 3 bout on Friday, January 24. Roane County will play a Wildcats team coming off a 58-49 non-league win over Hiwassee Dam (Murphy, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-8.
With the loss, Oliver Springs falls to 3-15 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Oneida (Oneida, TN) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Friday, January 24. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 3-11. Oneida lost 45-18 in their recent league bout against Austin-East (Knoxville, TN)
