January 21, 2025: Davenport, WA 99122 Davenport Gorillas (Davenport, WA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Liberty Lancers (Spangle, WA), 47-24 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Davenport upgrades its record to 3-3 on the year. The Gorillas travel to Chewelah (Chewelah, WA) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Thursday, January 23. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 0-8. Chewelah lost 22-6 in their recent non-league match against Rosalia (Rosalia, WA)
The Lancers now sport a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Freeman for a non-league match on Friday, January 24. Liberty will face a Scotties squad coming off a 56-22 non-league win over Colfax (Colfax, WA). The Scotties record now stands at 9-1.
