Colorado High School Basketball - Centaurus holds off Niwot
January 21, 2025: Niwot, CO 80503 The Centaurus Warriors basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host Niwot Cougars to 46 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Warriors now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Fairview for a game on Friday, January 24. Centaurus will confront a Knights team coming off a 62-39 league win over Silver Creek (Longmont, CO). The Knights record now stands at 9-1.
With the loss, Niwot falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Cougars host Mead (Longmont, CO) to confront the Mavericks in a non-league game on Friday, January 24. The Mavericks go into the game with a record of 0-3. Mead lost 43-39 in their recent league game against Erie (Erie, CO)
