Florida High School Basketball - Leesburg routs Hope Academy
January 21, 2025: Leesburg, FL 34748 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Leesburg Yellow Jackets basketball team scored a big 72-32 win over the Hope Academy Trojan Tigers.
The Yellow Jackets (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Dr. Phillips (Orlando, FL). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Dr. Phillips smashed Ocoee (Ocoee, FL), 50-49, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Trojan Tigers battle the Montverde Academy Gold Eagles (Montverde, FL) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 22. Hope Academy will attempt to better on its 7-10 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 45-38 non-league loss to Hope Academy (Groveland, FL).
