Rhode Island High School Basketball - West Warwick sneaks past Mt. Hope
January 21, 2025: Bristol, RI 02809 The West Warwick Wizards basketball team scored 73 points and limited the host Mt. Hope Huskies to 70 in the Wizards non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wizards now possess a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Moses Brown for a non-league game on Thursday, January 23. West Warwick will play a Quakers team coming off a 55-50 non-league loss to Middletown (Middletown, RI). The Quakers record now stands at 2-6.
With the loss, Mt. Hope falls to 4-1 on the campaign. The Huskies host Prout (Wakefield, RI) to play the Crusaders in a non-league game on Thursday, January 23. The Crusaders go into the game with a record of 5-3.
