In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Monarch Knights basketball team scored a close 50-45 triumph over the Nova Titans.

The Knights (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Somerset Academy (Pembroke Pines, FL). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 1-10 record. In their last contest, Somerset Academy was tipped by American (Hialeah, FL), 72-35, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Titans battle the Plantation Colonels (Plantation, FL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 22. Nova will attempt to better on its 7-11 season record. The Colonels go into the contest with a 17-4 record after their 69-62 non-league win over Piper (Sunrise, FL).
