In Wednesday's league contest, the host Smoky Hill Buffaloes basketball team scored a good 53-45 triumph over the Cherry Creek Bruins.

The Buffaloes (11-2) will now prepare for their contest against Eaglecrest (Centennial, CO). The Raptors go into the 5A/6A Centennial contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Eaglecrest was topped by Grandview (Aurora, CO), 58-38, in a league contest.
