The Benicia Panthers basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Fairfield Falcons to 34 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Panthers now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Castlemont for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 25. Benicia will battle a Knights team coming off a 66-55 league loss to Fremont (Oakland, CA). The Knights record now stands at 7-3.

The Falcons (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Rodriguez (Fairfield, CA). The Mustangs come into the Monticello Empire League contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, Rodriguez was routed by Vanden (Fairfield, CA), 70-68, in a league contest.
