The Boyertown Bears basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Penncrest Lions to 40 in the Bears non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bears now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spring-Ford for a Pioneer - Liberty contest on Tuesday, January 25.

The Lions (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Marple Newtown (Newtown Square, PA). The Fightin' Tigers enter the Central contest with a 6-4 record.
