Idaho High School Basketball - Columbia can't hold off Fruitland
January 22, 2022: Fruitland, ID 83619 The Columbia Wildcats basketball team (Nampa, ID), was nudged 61-54 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Fruitland Grizzlies (Fruitland, ID)
The Grizzlies now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Homedale for a 3A Snake River Valley battle on Thursday, January 27. Fruitland will battle a Trojans team coming off a 49-45 league loss to McCall-Donnelly (McCall, ID). The Trojans record now stands at 9-6.
The Wildcats (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Emmett (Emmett, ID). The Huskies come into the 4A Southern Idaho battle with a 3-10 record. In their last battle, Emmett was nudged by Ridgevue (Nampa, ID), 63-62, in a league battle.
