The Valley Christian Defenders basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting La Serna Lancers to 41 in the Defenders non-league victory on Saturday.

The Defenders now sport a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heritage Christian for a Olympic contest on Thursday, January 27.

The Lancers (11-11) will now prepare for their contest against El Rancho (Pico Rivera, CA). The Dons come into the Del Rio contest with a 4-19 record.
