Langford Lions (Langford, SD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting North Central Thunder (Eureka, SD), 52-26 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Langford upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Lions host Warner (Warner, SD) to clash with the Monarchs in a B Region 1 bout on Monday, January 24. The Monarchs go into the bout with a record of 6-5.

Next up, the Thunder clash with the Strasburg/Zeeland Clippers (Strasburg, ND) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 27. North Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Clippers go into the bout with a 0-9 record after their 65-45 league loss to Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter (Napoleon, ND).
