Virginia High School Basketball - Marion tops Patrick Henry

Marion Scarlet Hurricanes (Marion, VA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Patrick Henry Rebels (Glade Spring, VA), 49-34 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Marion upgrades its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Scarlet Hurricanes travel to Graham (Bluefield, VA) to play the G-Men in a Southwest bout on Monday, January 24. The G-Men come into the bout with a record of 2-6. Graham lost 47-26 in their recent non-league bout against Radford (Radford, VA)

Next up, the Rebels play the Chilhowie Warriors (Chilhowie, VA) in a Hogoheegee bout, on Tuesday, January 25. Patrick Henry will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record.
