Minnesota High School Basketball - Mountain Lake/Comfrey can't hold off New Ulm Cathedral
January 22, 2022: Mountain Lake, MN The New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Mountain Lake/Comfrey to 62 in the Greyhounds non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Greyhounds now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wabasso for a A Section 3 contest on Tuesday, January 25.
The (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Red Rock Central (Lamberton, MN). The Falcons enter the A Section 3 contest with a 2-11 record. In their last contest, Red Rock Central was nudged by Murray County Central (Slayton, MN), 59-44, in a league contest.
