In Saturday's non-league outing, the Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL) basketball squad edged the host St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL), by a margin of 59-58.

The Saxons (12-9) will now prepare for their outing against Barrington (Barrington, IL). The Fillies/Broncos go into the Mid-Suburban - West outing with a 16-4 record. In their last outing, Barrington held off Fremd (Palatine, IL), 47-31, in a league outing.
