Illinois High School Basketball - West Carroll tops Forreston
January 22, 2022: Savanna, IL 61074 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the West Carroll Thunder (Savanna, IL) and the visiting Forreston Cardinals (Forreston, IL), saw West Carroll's basketball squad knock off Forreston by a count of 38-19.
With the victory, West Carroll upgrades its record to 12-10 on the campaign. The Thunder travel to East Dubuque (East Dubuque, IL) to play the Warriors in a Northwest Upstate Illini - West challenge on Tuesday, January 25. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 4-17. East Dubuque lost 43-30 in their recent league challenge against River Ridge/Scales Mound (Hanover, IL)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Durand Bulldogs (Durand, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 26. Forreston will attempt to upgrade on its 3-18 season record.
