January 22, 2023: Detroit, MI 48202 The University Prep Panthers (Detroit, MI) basketball nipped the visiting Roseville Panthers (Roseville, MI), 50-49 in Sunday's non-league test.
The Panthers (3-10) will now prepare for their test against West Bloomfield (West Bloomfield, MI). The Lakers go into the non-league test with a 7-2 record. In their last test, West Bloomfield got by Groves (Beverly Hills, MI), 56-49, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Grosse Pointe South for a Macomb Area - Red test on Tuesday, January 24. Roseville will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 56-28 league win over Dakota (Macomb, MI). The Blue Devils record now stands at 9-3.
