January 22, 2023: Simsbury, CT 06070 Averill Park Warriors (Averill Park, NY) backers were in high spirits Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Simsbury Trojans (Simsbury, CT), 59-31 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Averill Park upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Warriors travel to Troy (Troy, NY) to clash with the Flying Horses in a Section 2 Suburban bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Flying Horses go into the bout with a record of 1-14. Troy lost 50-39 in their recent non-league bout against Kingston (Kingston, NY)
Next up, the Trojans clash with the Edwin O. Smith Panthers (Storrs, CT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Simsbury will attempt to upgrade on its 10-2 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 72-47 non-league win over Manchester (Manchester, CT).
