January 22, 2024: Ashland, KY 41102 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY) and the visiting Huntington Expression Prep Kings (Huntington, WV), saw Boyd County's basketball squad wallop Huntington Expression Prep by a tally of 96-54.
With the victory, Boyd County improves its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Lions host Expression Prep Academy (Huntington, WV) to confront the Lions in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 22. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 10-6. Expression Prep Academy lost 90-78 in their recent non-league challenge against Mountain Mission (Grundy, VA)
Next up, the Kings confront the Pikeville Panthers (Pikeville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 26. Huntington Expression Prep will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record.
