Minnesota High School Basketball - Mayer Lutheran tops Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart
January 22, 2024: Mayer, MN 55360 Mayer Lutheran Crusaders (Mayer, MN) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs (Hector, MN), 87-77 in a league bout.
With the victory, Mayer Lutheran upgrades its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] (Montgomery, MN) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 8-8. Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] won 72-67 in their recent non-league bout against St. James (St. James, MN)
Next up, the Mustangs play the B O L D Warriors (Olivia, MN) in a A Section 2 bout, on Thursday, January 25. Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 9-6 record after their 71-39 non-league win over Yellow Medicine East (Granite Falls, MN).
