Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Evergreen Christian Eagles (Leesburg, VA) and the visiting Covenant Christian Academy Golden Eagles (Warrenton, VA), saw Evergreen Christian's basketball squad wallop Covenant Christian Academy by a tally of 98-23.

With the victory, Evergreen Christian improves its record to 17-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD) to confront the Crusaders in a Metro Private challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 18-10. Riverdale Baptist lost 78-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Patrick School (Hillside, NJ)

Next up, the Golden Eagles confront the Northern Virginia HomeSchool Centurions (Manassas, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Covenant Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Centurions come into the challenge with a 11-3 record after their 57-39 non-league loss to Harrisonburg HomeSchool (Harrisonburg, VA).
